Investment Funds Associate with 1 to 5 Years Fund Formation and Operation Experience
Our client, an elite law firm with a large Washington D.C. office, is currently seeking an associate with 1-5 years of regulatory experience for their Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate should have a background in representing both registered and exempt investment advisers, as well as private U.S. and international investment funds. This role involves advising fund sponsors on fund formation and operational matters, reviewing and drafting key documents such as private placement memoranda and limited partner agreements, ensuring compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, preparing SEC filings, and conducting in-depth legal research on private investment fund regulation and operations. The candidate should have prior experience in an Investment Management practice at a global law firm.
