Midsize California-based firm is looking for an attorney with a minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental litigation to join their team in Washington, D.C. The role requires experience in handling environmental matters, including water rights and availability, water quality, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, land use, toxics litigation (including CERCLA and RCRA cases), and experience in representing public agencies is a plus. Admission to practice in California is mandatory, with compensation expected to range from $150,000 to $190,000 for candidates with 6 or more years of experience. This position is within an Environmental Litigation practice known for its extensive expertise, representing a wide range of clients in significant and high-stakes disputes. The team, comprising nearly a quarter of the firm’s attorneys, represents clients in all trial and appellate phases, including complex multi-party and multi-district environmental matters.
