Privacy & Cybersecurity Mid to Senior Associate or Special Counsel with Experience in Litigation and Investigations

Prominent law firm with a distinguished cyber, data, and privacy practice, is actively seeking candidates for two roles: an Associate with 4-6 years of experience, and a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with over 7 years of experience. The successful candidates will join the firm’s team in Washington, D.C., focusing on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security issues. This practice group consists of 30+ attorneys across the firm’s US and global offices. The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in regulatory investigations or litigation pertaining to consumer protection issues, including involvement with State Attorney Generals, the Federal Trade Commission, and other regulatory agencies. Additionally, expertise in defending data privacy and security class actions, such as those involving the Stored Communications Act and claims of unfair and deceptive trade practices, is highly valued. This practice is globally recognized for its comprehensive counseling and litigation capabilities in cybersecurity, data rights, and privacy.
