    Our client, a preeminent D.C.-based international law firm, is currently seeking two Junior/Mid-Level Associates (J.D. class years 2017 – 2022). The ideal candidates should possess strong academic and professional credentials, coupled with A) a technical background in engineering, especially in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines, or B) an advanced Chemistry background, such as a PhD, Masters, or significant industry experience in chemistry. These roles are situated within a prestigious Patent Litigation practice, with a team of over 130 attorneys spread across key locations in the United States and Asia, including over 95 lawyers in Washington. The team has handled more than 700 patent cases, demonstrating a deep understanding across a variety of technologies. Notably, the firm’s patent litigation practice has been recognized for its trial expertise, technical proficiency, and broad geographic reach, successfully litigating in major patent jurisdictions and cases at the International Trade Commission. The firm’s appellate practice is also highly regarded, having handled numerous complex patent matters before the Supreme Court and federal Circuit courts​​​​.

The firm allows for a hybrid work arrangement, blending in-office and remote work, with flexibility considered for exceptional applicants. The proposed base salary ranges from $250,000 to $325,000, based on a 2000-hour billable goal, subject to candidate qualifications and experience.
