Litigation practice of mid-sized firm seeks an associate with at least four years of experience to work on a variety of sophisticated matters in federal court, state court and before various agencies. Majority of matters involve environmental and/or energy claims, but prior experience litigating in those sectors is not required (more of a plus). Representative matters might include representing a private party in CERCLA litigation, appearing before an environmental hearing board regarding air and water appeals, and/or federal litigation involving pipeline safety.
Other Notes:
– 3 day in-office requirement
– Average client billables in the 1,800-1,900 range
– Competitive pay commensurate with billable targets
– Culture of collaboration and mentorship
