Senior Government Contracts Litigation Associate or Counsel
Our client, a highly regarded law firm based in Washington, D.C., is actively seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel with a minimum of six years’ experience to join their ERISA Litigation and Employee Benefits practice. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in advising clients on the comprehensive range of issues associated with ERISA-covered employee benefit plans and significant litigation experience in ERISA cases at both federal trial and appellate court levels. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable interacting with and representing clients during administrative investigations by government agencies such as the Department of Labor (DOL) and Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). An in-depth understanding of ERISA’s fiduciary, prohibited transaction, reporting, disclosure, and claims administration requirements is critical. Experience with ERISA class action pension and retirement plan litigation will be considered an advantage.
This practice is a well-regarded-practice with a history of representing diverse clients, including insurance companies, employers, fiduciaries, plans, and participant associations, in a range of complex ERISA matters.
