One-of-a-Kind Opportunity For M&A GovCon Senior Associate/Counsel (DC/Remote) (Unpublished)

 

Garrison & Sisson has been exclusively engaged to assist this elite AmLaw 50 Firm with a rare opportunity for a senior associate or counsel to be the “go to” senior lawyer for the transactional side of its Government Contracts practice.  Enjoy significant autonomy (with associate support) in this highly visible role firm interfacing with key clients and across many practice groups. If you enjoy the transactional side of government contracts, this is an opportunity to take your specialized skills, to an elite firm, and immediately assume a key role in this successful practice – with significant room to advance without the pressure of building your own book.

 

Desired Background:  Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience – either in a top law firm, in-house, and/or government agency (e.g., Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency).  Must have significant experience with (i) government contracts transactions/M&A (e.g., due diligence, valuation, negotiating terms, small business size status, transfer of intellectual property rights, security clearance requirements, etc.) AND (ii) regulatory compliance with the FAR/DFARS. Ideal candidates will also be familiar with the DCSA and with classified government contracts. Knowledge of (or a willingness to assist with) international trade matters a plus (e.g, EAR/ITAR).

Compensation/Hours:  Firm pays top of market (base, bonus, special bonus). Firm will make you whole on any 2021 bonus money due. Reasonable billable hours at 1950.
