Midlevel White Collar and Government Investigations Associate, Familiarity with SEC and CFTC Defense Preferred

Our client, a distinguished law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking an associate with 3 to 4 years of experience for their White Collar & Government Investigation practice group. Candidates should have expertise in white collar criminal defense, government investigations related to civil and criminal enforcement, and areas such as the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) or Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) defense, False Claims Act litigation, and internal investigations. Preference will be given to applicants with previous prosecutorial or government investigative experience, as well as those with a district or appellate clerkships. Language skills in German, Spanish, or Korean will be considered advantageous. Our client’s White Collar Investigations practice has a sterling reputation, with a team that includes former Assistant United States Attorneys, congressional counsel, and former DOJ and SEC attorneys. Their expertise spans a broad range of industries, dealing with high-stakes enforcement actions and investigations both domestically and internationally. The practice is noted for its representation in matters involving government contracting, life sciences, international trade, securities and commodities fraud, and a host of other complex legal areas.
