Midlevel Patent Prosecution Associate w/Adv. Degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry, USPTO Registered

Our client, a distinguished intellectual property boutique, is actively seeking a patent prosecution associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Biotechnology & Chemical Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with top-tier inventors and innovators and to work within a team comprising over 160 lawyers, registered patent agents, students, and technical specialists, many of whom hold advanced degrees in science or engineering. The Biotechnology & Chemical group provides a supportive environment for new members, including a tailored docket and the opportunity for annual advisor changes. Associates may also have the option for full-time remote work from a U.S. location outside the D.C. metro area. The firm encourages a flexible hybrid work schedule with some presence in their modern Washington, D.C. office. Compensation for this position is based on a good faith base salary range of $250,000 to $325,000 for a 2000 billable hour goal or $215,000 to $270,000 for a 1900 hour billable goal.
