Our client, a leading, local biotech company, seeks a skilled Contracts Manager to take ownership of its contracting function. This is a unique opportunity to be the sole Contracts Manager at a growing organization—supporting teams across the company and reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, and operational agreements (e.g., purchase terms and conditions, customer questionnaires, NDAs, MTAs, material transfer, and license transfer agreements)Maintain and improve contract tracking systems, templates, and renewal/terminationsMonitor compliance with contractual obligations and proactively flag deadlinesSupport customer service and project management teams using established policies and best practicesGenerate contract status reports and updates to key stakeholdersLead contract process improvements and take on special projects as neededQualifications:5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contractsParalegal Certificate or Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)Relevant industry sector experience highly desiredHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independentlyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe AcrobatIf you’re ready to take ownership of the contracts function at a company that’s advancing innovation and research in the biosciences, please apply.
